Tour de France 2012 | Stage 17
Hard man of the day (aside from all of them) is Chris Anker Sørensen who someone got two of his fingers caught in his front wheel while trying to remove some newspaper. Ouch.
He got back on the bike, continued on and finished 24th on the stage, all the time bleeding heavily from his left hand. At one point the tv coverage showed Thomas Voeckler - never one to shy away from expressions - giving a long, amazed look at Chris with his handlebars and leg covered in blood.
